Programs & Services | Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)

An EAP Program provides voluntary counselling services. Professional counselors work confidentially with employees and/or their families to support them in coping with a wide array of life’s challenges that could be work-related, family concerns or personal issues.

Employees and their families employed by organizations that have purchased counselling services from the Family Counselling Centre are eligible.

We have tremendous relevant experience and have been employed by companies in virtually all employment sectors, including municipal and federal governments, police, schools, hi-tech and hospital staff. This experience enables us to fully understand the unique stresses and challenges that both these sectors, as well as the particular professional employees within them, face.

Contact your EAP co-coordinator at your place of employment to verify eligibility.

Other services available to employers and their employees through an EAP are: Seminars on money management, stress management, retirement and healthy relationships. Additional workshops can be made on request.
